Samira is imbibed with natural instincts for all arts and artistic developments. The passion to explore Oriental Culture was sparked in her.
Right at the age of three years she laid her first foot-steps in Kathak at the feet of Guru Gopi Krishna. Later she took up Odissi with her present Guru Ravindra Attibudhi. She is quite at ease in her academic education and has completed her Business Management.
Samira is a rare blend of beauty, grace, charm, talent and is poised with intricate rhythm and abhinaya the two principal assets of this art. She finds no difficulty in identifying herself with the various “Nayikas”
She has the distinction of performing in the Metropolitan cities of India and at various Classical Conferences. Recently she had performed. In Bombay where she won laurels for her performance and got excellent reviews in Times (Hindi & English), Lok-Satta, Urdu Daily, Mid-Day etc. She won the complete attention of the audience who remained spell-bound.
In the midst of all the achievements her sympathetic attitude for other not so fortunate in their pursuits of arts, sowed the seeds for the creation of an institution. The Konark Nritya Mandir is the natural outcome of this attitude.

Sanira showed distinct promise in her dance recital, whether it was “Mangalacharn”, the Shankara Bharanam based “Pallavi” or her apt Abhinaya in “Ramayan” bringing to life the characters of Ram, Sita Lakshman, Jatayu & Ravan. She exuded confidence & grace in fast or slow “laya”
